She snapped her jaws at the butterfly, trotting along after it. She didn't really feel like catching and killing it. What would she do with a dead butterfly? She snorted. Instead of letting he jaws close around it, and let it stay a few inches ahead of her the whole time she chase after it. Before she knew it she was following the butterfly through thicker and thicker forestage. Ali suddenly stopped. the butterfly floated up above The canopy and out of sight. She bit her lip looking around. Where was she? This always happened. Ali getting lost because of something silly. She whimpered and somewhere far off a bird crowed, as if mocking her. She sighed, laying down. He sniffed around and noticed that an unknown wolf had been around here lately. He stored the scent in his mind and the location for future refrence. he continued his patrol and saw something white flash in the woods. He looked carefully and noticed that it was Ali. His heart leaped. He wasnt expecting to meet anyone out here. He watched her carefully and saw her chasing a butterfly, he smiled. He watched her from afar until the butterfly flew out of her reach. She layed down. Kyo walked over to her in dead silence, he came up right behind her in her 'blind spot' and said,"hello ali, fancy meeting you here." in a cheerful voice. The forest was quiet, all the birds had stopped their chattering and the leaves didnt even rustle. She blinked. this was a little creepy.. Her heartbeat quiclened as she tensed up. Then she heard a deep voice directly behind her. Ali yelped, jumping up several feet and clinging to the nearest tree. Her heart raced and she turned her head, seeing it was only Kyo. She sighed in relief. "Whoa... dobnt sneak up on my like that.." She detatched herself from the tree, leaving clawmarks, and walked over to him slowly. She smiled, glad someone had finally found her. "sorry but thats just how i am..." He looked around for anyother wolves that she could of come with. Sensing none he frowned. "why are you all the way out here by yourself. You know that another pack's boundry is right behind that bush..." Kyo nodded to the bush about five feet away. She fearfully walked around so he was facing it and not her, her fur brushing along his as she made her way behind him. he was the spy, huh? It was probably a good idea to stick by him, he seemed to always know what was going on. She wondered when there would be another attack. Like the one on Nia. It had been suckening.. the blood. She couldnt stand it. Ali would probably flee if more violence broke out, let alone a full out war. She had seen those before, and it wasnt something worth sticking around for. She didnt tell him about the fact that she had been lost. "Why are you out here?" He stared at the bush wondering how such a thing could make a wolf cower. He sighed. He opened his mouth and sniffed at the bush. The scent mark was fresh so the wolf who marked it wasnt far away but they had already passed, which meant they wouldnt be coming back. Kyo's ears perked up as he caught the sound of ali's voice. He obviously knew all about the surrounding packs, and what they were planning on doing. Maybe, just maybe she would stick around throughout this war that was brewing. Only if she was sure he would protect her. Alira lowerd herself into a laying position by his side, her tail flicking back and forth. She was, suprisingly, curious about the other packs. "Kyo.. I've never seen any of the rebel wolves. Are there any you could watch from the border.. I want to see." He snapped back to attention as he heard Ali speak. She wants to see rebel wolves? Hm. I wonder why... Kyo thought. A scent that was floating on the breeze caught his intrest, it was of the pack whose border was right next to him. "Ali, it may seem as you will get your wish..." He padded over to a patch of bushes where he couldnt be seen but he would see them. "Ali, come over here and watch and listen, wolves from the other pack are coming closer...though i thought they would be going farther away..."
